Installation dans un hangar qui servait autrefois de lieu de conservation du hareng. Les 512 cercles de sel, au sol, rappellent la forme des barils et rendent hommage au travail de chaque ouvrière qui, à l’époque, remplissait environ 512 barils de poissons par semaine.
Projet réalisé avec Baldur Helgi Snorrason, ouvert au public.

Artist residency, Siglufjörður, North Iceland. Installation in the gigantic factory which used to be the storage place for conservation of herring. On the floor, 512 circles made of salt recall the barils shape; it is a way to pay tribute to the "herring girls" who had to fill an average of 512 barrels a week during the golden age of fishing in Iceland.
